As recognized by the local and International art critics as well as the recognition of the public in general, presently Mora Godoy is ranked as the most important tango dancer and choreographer of Argentina.
In her expression the combination of traditional tango, modern tango and technique of classical ballet convene in her in a multiplicity of styles. Here by she has given to her shows the expressivity of the Buenos Aires tango of latter days as well as contemporaneous style. As choreographer first ballerina and ballet director she has created and developed shows of highest level. Mora Godoy has impressed to the tango a unique style of present tango.
Her studies, started at the Instituto Superior de Arte del Teatro Colón, where she mastered as a classical ballerina. Here after she inhesed her technique by up grading her studies of classical Ballet in Russia.
Between 1990 and 1992 she performed as solo ballerina at the Modern Jazz Ballet. During this period she also started to study and practice tango.
In 1993 she starts as solo ballerina in the company Tango x 2 and in 1993 together with Miguel Angel Zotto had the lead role of Perfumes de Tango and Una noche de Tango. With these shows, in several tours, were presented in mayor parts of Europe, Asia and the Americas, which highly impacted audience and the press.
In 1997 she has been invited by Stanford University to give a training course of tango and a workshop. This same year she presented the show Tango fatal in San Francisco, being the lead dancer, choreographer and director of this show.
